Challenge
Design a cover and a two-page spread for Vogue in the style of the 1920’s Art Deco period, while staying true to its identity.
Solution
Focusing on Vogue’s personality and its target audience, I ensured that the final design reflected the brand’s essence. Using Art Deco colours and typography, I aimed to convey the 1920s spirit while maintaining Vogue’s signature look. A captivating flapper illustration on the cover grabs the reader’s attention and sets the theme of the issue. The two-page spread is designed with a clean and elegant layout, harmonizing with the cover’s typography and colour scheme. “Reimagining Vogue 1920” seamlessly combines the past and present, offering a timeless glimpse into the Deco era.
